The TYT TH-UV88 is a solid, economical Dual Band UHF/VHF analog amateur radio for everyday ham use at an entry level price. With 200 channels and up to 5 watts of power, the UV88 is an excellent choice for ham radio operators.
The TH-UV88 features 200 programmable channels with support for 2 meter and 70cm ham frequencies. CTCSS/DCS and 1750 Hz call tone. Other features include dual wait, dual standby, FM radio, DTMF encode/decode and key lock. The UV88 also features a dot-matrix LCD display, built-in VOX (Voice Operated Transmit) for hands-free operation and a high illumination flashlight.
